If anyone out there is a regular reader of this blog, you’ll notice there’s a few changes around this joint.
I finally bit the bullet and got my own linux server, ditching ColdFusion along the way in favor of Php, Wordpress and Drupal.
I gotta say, Wordpress is pretty awesome. The themes, the plugins, the widgets, it’s like a candy store with free chocolate.
I also have had fun configuring my LAMP server, but fortunately Linodes makes it easy with the new stackscripts they just rolled out.
A one click install and you’ve got a fully configured LAMP server ready to go. You also get full root access, more bandwidth then you’ll need and a pretty speedy up and down stream for only 20 bucks a month.
I’m planning on using this blog mostly for tech posting, so if you don’t like lots of code snippets watch out
